Administrator moves back to Indiana to run Providence Anderson

ANDERSON — When Bryan Lindsay started working out west after college, he wasn’t sure he’d ever move back to the area he considers his hometown until he got a call about a job in Anderson.

Lindsay, 35, was an administrator for another company at the time at a long-term care site in Couer d’Alene, Idaho. Matt Robinson, regional director of operations for Providence Group, Inc., told him the company had just purchased its first long-term care site in Indiana, ManorCare Health Services nursing home on Madison Avenue.

“I said, ‘Holy cow. I’m very familiar. I grew up in Muncie and Yorktown right down the road,’” Lindsay said. “He said, ‘Are you serious? No one has heard of Anderson, especially some kid out in Idaho.’”
