ANDERSON – A local rehabilitation center has obtained the equipment and education to serve a population it sees frequently – patients with fractured hips.

Providence Anderson, 1345 N. Madison Ave., now has the Hip Fracture Rehabilitation Center of Excellence, a designation that shines a light on the training the staff has undergone.

Episode 360 is a company that works with health care facilities toward specialty physician alignment and post-acute care partnerships. Ben Forrest, co-founder of Episode 360, said the goal is to get surgeons from the acute side and therapists from the post-acute side communicating more to do what is best for the patient.
